The ceremony location is a masterpiece of floral architecture with a picturesque brick walkway, secret garden, reflection pool, walled garden, and hundreds of camellias and azaleas. If you decide to come early, the state park also has places for swimming, fishing, canoeing and kayaking. Boats without gas-powered motors are allowed. There are pavilions and grills along the lakeshore provide the perfect setting for a picnic. There are two short nature trails through the woods overlooking the lake, and 6 miles for hiking, bicycling and horse riding .
